You can use Falcon for regular writing by not flexing the nib. In other words, you would write as if you are using a regular non-flex fountain pen. It sounds a bit tricky, but you will have an easier time if you write slower than usual. I can post a picture of a writing sample of Falcon without flexing, if you like. I hope this helps! :)
